High Suited Connectors
High suited connectors are a strong starting online poker hand that can be played from a range of positions. If you are dealt a King-Queen of Hearts, you can draw a straight or flush, and if you don’t see any Hearts, you still might see another King or Queen for a high pair with a great kicker. On the other poker online hand, it’s a hand that is very dependent on the flop. If you don’t have a straight or flush draw and you don’t pair either of your cards, you’ll end up holding some expensive rags. Here are a few considerations for playing high suited connectors. High suited connectors have a high expectation, so they’re great in just about any situation. If you’ve got them in a late position, try to boost the pot and chase out the small hands with some preflop raises, and if you’re in an early position, don’t be as aggressive. You’ve still got to make a hand on the flop, so try to get a deal on seeing the flop. A lot of flops will make high suited connectors a playable poker online hand. If you get a pair or a draw on the flop, you’re good to keep betting. If it misses, don’t be afraid to fold your hand.
