Bang & Olufsen Is Building a 55" Super Lcd Television
Bang & Olufsen has announced the Beo Vision 7-55. The 55″ lcd television is an alternative model to the BeoVision 7 models which have a 30″ to 40″ lcd screen en contains a fully integrated blu-ray player.
The BeoVision 7-55 is available in four distinct colours and works on the LED backlight technology with a local dimming technology and a 120Hz screen refreshing. In addition the television is equipped with the BeoSystem 3-screen improvement system. The base of the television contains two motors which are optional which with a click on the remote control will automatically adjust the screen to the appropriate eye level en angle. Bang & Olufsen have been extremely innovative with their latest venture by integrating a blu-ray player in the television which works in Dolby Digital True HD.
Films with DTS HD 7.1 and DTS HD Master 7.1 audio prints will be mixed down to DTS 5.1. The sound bar of the television has six speakers. The BeoVision 7-55 is currently only sold in the Unites States and without the motorised base costs 18.700 dollar; with regards to European prices an announcement is yet to be made.
