Human Hair Wigs for a Better Tomorrow

I couldn’t believe the indestructible Chandra Smart, my life-long soul mate, could ever need a collection of lace front wigs. Her trademark long black hair flowed in sync with impeccable style. But surprise surprise. There’s no question she will always be the center of attention for her hair. Not many in town know she confidently masks her medical hair loss under well-crafted African American wigs. They work well.

Back in the day as mere children in our home town of Scottsdale, we once knocked ‘em dead. Five years later, her alopecia kicked in and she went bald. I recommended these synthetic wigs. But you know, it didn’t matter much. Unfazed by medical hair loss, she fearlessly showcased her innate beauty.

At our university’s golf competition, we taunted the players until someone clumsily launched the sphere (or whatever they play with) into the stands. My bff went to grab it when her bandana landed in a beer, unveiling her hair (or lack thereof). Undisturbed, she walked over and delivered it to the game official. Attitude, did I mention she’s got it?

That said, who can be invincible at all times? The same summer she invited me over for a cookie baking marathon, where she sat me down and confided that she would rather go bald out of bitterness. She could never spend money on medical wigs, despite the fact that she wanted one. Suddenly she the punk turned flush red and demanded that I drop it. So I did.

There was no way to get her words out of my head. The next morning, I IM’d with her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. After a long deliberation the two of us came to the obvious conclusion: lace front wigs for all! Wigs for the both of us, on me!

We had a great time, stunned by the possibilities. I didn’t realize that women’s medical wigs were so confidence inspiring for beautiful people and famous actors. These wigs brought out her youthful spirit. As for me, arranged a delightfully fresh wardrobe to go with my wig. We stand together, forever and always. For my birthday she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for her wig, and said it encourages a fresh spirit that she’d forgotten. It’s a relief to see my best friend reclaim her beauty. Friends can do anything!
