Sennheiser HD650 Headphones
Sennheiser HD650 headphones are amazing and the sound is close to perfect. The bass is totally pragmatic and well extended, instead of overblown or muddy as is the case with many less expensive telephones. The high frequencies are naturally airey and clear, making for relaxed listening without the requirement to bump the levels too hard ( unless you actually need to naturally ). The mid range is sounding extraordinarily clear and undistorted. These headphones have only been out of the box for an hour, and they have got an endorsed run-in time of one or 2 days consistent useage, so I only expect this already excellent sound to boost further still. Decent sound comes at a price, as the materials selected need to be picked and put together intensely meticulously in order to perform precisely as needed. Making correct headphones is a skill, and Sennheiser’s many years of expertise has obviously lead to their manufacturing headphones of such a top quality.
To believe that a company with such experience in building correct devices like these would place a piece of material in their headphones that degraded their sound is totally daft. Do you actually think that a corporation that invests so much money in developing correct drivers would sully their reputation and bring down the standard of their high-end items by not considering such a thing? I suspect not. These are wired headphones not wireless like the RS120’s.
The Sennheiser HD650 headphones were designed to be used as they are presented, no changing of wires and ripping out of integral parts will make them more correct, and anyway it will likely do the reverse. Another option is to consider the Sennheiser RS120 headphones if you are looking for a lower spec option, but clearly they are in a different league.
