No Drama: Personal Ads that Honestly Fulfill Their Promise
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not that desperately eligible man, comfortably occupied by being solo on a Friday night. I’d bet readers have never seen me talk much on great dating and companionship. Not a fan of the drama.
Helplessness is an unfortunate human characteristic and completely never written into my playbook. However, I’ll level with you, I definitely needed to end a worthwhile fling and I felt a great deal for but essentially wasn’t meant to be. So you might tell ya its been a while since I was dating. I can’t find the great expectations that came naturally before.
Single life has had its perks so far. This much is certain, I won’t sit tight, undisturbed, devowering Two and a Half Men on DVD. The number one reason for this spell of temporary dating lameness? We’re not in high school, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.
My take-no-holds football pal, Brandon, who will never have dating boredom, sympathized because he is currently in a similar place. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. Of course, I like mingling among quality singles who share my passions. Go figure, I decided to make a change and signed up.
Here’s the deal, ya can’t feel down by not having plans when ya haven’t tried to meet anyone. As my mentor and baseball coach Terry Simms carried on between war stories, “You’ll never win a race you don’t run, sparky.”
The man didn’t know my name. Even so, the man was a source of truth without being self-righteous. He was likable in all ways. This crazy series of Dallas singles events I just went to definitely would have blown the old man’s noggin’.
At great expectations singles events I spent time with a few accomplished and attractive singles that catch my expectations. I truthfully had a blast with dozens of pretty incredible singles. The evening ended following an exchange of digits, and as a plus, I grew some political connections for my career. Right on!
Get out there. You won’t complain if you don’t. Take it from me, at least have great expectations for life’s sake.
Respectfully,
Josiah
