The Ceramic Water Dispenser
I want to talk about ceramic dispenser brought to you by the Water Delivery Company. Now, this is no ordinary water cooler. It’s not like some of the ones you may have seen with their standard blue bottles, or the mains-fed ones, with their granite/silvery finishes. The ceramic water dispenser is a little aesthetically pleasing treat, Victorian in feel. It is small in height and designed specifically to sit on top of a work surface or a table, rather than having direct contact with the floor. There is also the option of a floor stand if you prefer, which looks rather splendid too! The ceramic itself is made of vilified porcelain which is fired twice for extra strength and sturdiness. This also gives it a more decorative finish. First the glaze is applied, then the barrel is fired for a second time (just to be sure!) at a temperature of 1600 degrees celsius. As the body of the water dispenser is ceramic, it naturally cools the water inside, what it doesn’t do however, unlike coolers with an electricity source, is chill it. The up side is that you’ll never have any problems with it, and you can use it for dispensing other beverages. Genius!
